Get a library card for your baby!
All cards are free. There are two types of cards available.
Regular Cards
Regular cards give you access to all of our materials, including thousands of board books for your baby. You can sign up for a regular card by coming to your nearest library location with your completed application, which you can download in English and Spanish. You don’t need to bring your baby to the library; their birth certificate is sufficient for verification. You must live, work, go to school or own property in NY to receive a regular card. Regular cards require photo identification as well as proof of your name and address.
eCards
eCards give you access to all of our digital materials, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, databases, and online journals. You can register for an eCard with your email address.
