It's here! The 2020 Census begins in mid-March, when you should receive a mailing from the U.S. Census Bureau inviting you to participate in this short questionnaire. Why does the census matter? The census count helps leaders distribute federal funding and decide how many representatives your state receives in the U.S. House of Representatives. Take ten minutes and participate in this once-a-decade count. You can come to the library and use our dedicated Wi-Fi or Census Pop-Up Stations – or reply by phone or mail.
