Ecuadorian Christmas Traditions

Join Hilda Campoverde for a program where you will have the opportunity to learn how to make and try fritters with fig, syrup, and cheese accompanied with hot chocolate. You will also enjoy Christmas carols and artists dressed as the Holy Family. Queens Public Library is not responsible for any illness that results from tasting food. This program is subsidized by fees collected by Queens Public Library.

Pickled green bananas are iconic in our Puerto Rican cuisine. Besides being delicious, they are inexpensive, nutritious, and easy to prepare. They appear at all family parties especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Food is served on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited.
