Are you listening?” The Winter Wonderland Music, Bubble, and Comedy Show is a snowy “turtle-riffic” musical experience that is designed to engage children through winter songs, movement activities, big giant bubbles, children’s stories, and interactive music technology! The show is crafted to be inclusive for all children, including children on the autism spectrum, and a great time for parents and caregivers! Culture Connection: "A Christmas Carol" Holiday Reading by Award-Winning Narrator Edoardo Ballerini

Culture Connection is happy to present a special holiday treat. Critically acclaimed veteran film and TV actor Edoardo Ballerini (“The Sopranos” (HBO), “Boardwalk Empire” (HBO)) will be returning to read excerpts from Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol.” Mr. Ballerini is a two-time winner of the Audiobook Publishers Association’s Best Male Narrator in addition to being named a “Golden Voice” by AudioFile Magazine. Mr. Ballerini has won the Audie Award (2013, Beautiful Ruins, by Jess Walter; 2019, “Watchers” by Dean Koontz) and recorded over 300 titles, from classics by Tolstoy, Whitman and Camus, to best-sellers by Andre Aciman, Isabel Allende, and, most recently, Amor Towels’ “The Lincoln Highway.” He is also a two-time winner of the Society of Voice Arts Award and was recently featured in a New York Times Magazine profile “The Voice of God.” This program will be introduced by Laurence Frommer. Culture Connection: Holiday Music Spectacular with The Riley Mulherkar Trio Featuring Vuyo Sotashe

Riley Mulherkar is a bandleader, composer, arranger, educator, and advocate for jazz and the arts. He works with a number of leading artists of our time, including Wynton Marsalis and Tony Award winner Alan Cumming, and is a founding member of The Westerlies. Riley is a faculty member of The College of Performing Arts at The New School. Vuyo Sotashe is a New York based vocalist, composer, and performer originally from South Africa. Since moving to the United states as a Fulbright Scholar, he has performed with celebrated jazz legends including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jimmy Heath, George Benson, and Al Jarreau, to name a few. Recently, Vuyo appeared with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra as a featured artist on their 2018 Tour. Vuyo also performs as one of the fronting vocalists of Mwenso and the Shakes, while leading his own ensemble appearing on stages across the United States, and around the world.
