It’s Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
This year, Queens Public Library joins our nation in paying homage to the visionaries and trailblazers who have shaped AANHPI history, made lasting contributions to our country, and continue to influence our collective future.
Join us for our special programs, enjoy our book recommendations and resources, watch great AANHPI-related movies, and listen to the award-winning Queens Memory podcast, Our Major Minor Voices!
Our Bayside, Flushing, and Forest Hills branches will host Taiwan Book Corners during AANHPI Heritage Month, thanks to a partnership with the Taipei Cultural Center in New York, which is part of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.
Discover firsthand the latest novels, picture books, and graphic novels straight from Taiwan with ease, and borrow them in English and Traditional Chinese!
Check out the newly-expanded collection of Burmese language books for children and adults at our Elmhurst branch!
These are the latest books we have added to the International Language Collections at Queens Public Library.
