This program is ideal for those who are passionate about culinary arts, have experience in the industry, and are ready to take it to the next level by starting their own business.

Queens Public Library’s Job & Business Academy offers a FREE program specifically for Queens food entrepreneurs. From its inception in 2017, Queens Public Library’s Queens FEASTS program has provided more than 100 aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge to be successful in today’s highly competitive food industry.

Queens FEASTS, formerly known as Jamaica FEASTS, has now expanded across the borough. It provides knowledge, tools, and resources to those who are interested in starting their own food business. Learn the fundamentals of the food industry through interactive workshops and training, gain insight from industry experts, and receive one-on-one individualized assistance from counselors.

Graduates have participated in prestigious culinary events such as the Vendy Awards, Good Food Awards, and NYC Wine & Food Festival hosted by the Food Network and Cooking Channel. Graduates have also vended at Taste of Queens, Queens Night Market, Bronx Night Market, LIC Flea, and more.
