This year, Kamala Harris, a Black-South Asian woman, shattered the glass ceiling, becoming the first female vice president in US history. More women than ever before in recent history are seeking and winning political office or are leaders in community organizations. More women than ever before are leading the way in the arts, education, and science. And yet, there is much more left to be done to achieve parity, equal representation, and inclusion. During Women's History Month, QPL celebrates the remarkable achievements of past women that brought us to the triumphs of present women, looks boldly to today's challenges, and explores the way forward to a brighter future for all women.
