Ages 16-24

Are you interested in getting your High School Equivalency, but not sure where to start? The Young Adult Literacy Program (YALP) is here to help! The program is open to students aged 16–24, and offers four days of classes per week, as well as one day of service learning and job shadowing to help build your résumé.

When you complete YALP, you’ll be able to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) to determine your eligibility for High School Equivalency. Participants must commit to attending all classes, case management sessions and job shadowing/internship sessions.

YALP offers classes year-round. Students can pre-register now for the upcoming Semester. Complete the below registration from and you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
Open Enrollment is available during the first three weeks of each Semester.
