Job Readiness Training
Be Prepared for Today’s Workforce
Queens Public Library’s Job & Business Academy, in partnership with the Consortium for Worker Education, is providing a free Job Readiness and Computer Training program for the unemployed or underemployed. This seven-week training program is a comprehensive series of workshops that offers entry to mid-level job seekers with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in today’s job market.
This program provides a structured environment where participants can learn and network with fellow job seekers, and receive individualized assistance to meet their job search needs. Participants will work closely with a counselor to develop a customized resume and cover letter that showcases their experience and targets their desired industry and position.
Topics covered include
