SUMMER PROGRAMS 2018
Enjoy summer with Queens Library!
Whether you’re a kid or an adult, you don’t need to be a victim of the summer slump. Bring your kids and teens to your local library for fun ways to track their summer reading progress, rock out with the Battle of the Bands winners on August 4, or enjoy a pop-up science exhibit. Plus, we'll also be serving free lunch to kids ages 0 to 18 at 35 of our libraries in July and August. There’s something for everyone this season, including author talks for adults.
Summer Reading
Libraries Rock! Throughout the summer we will have programs ranging from making your own instruments to book discussions – and we will have a contest for each library branch to track reading progress plus a weekly Battle of the Books. Visit our Summer Reading website to learn more about all of our activities and about how to keep track of your reading.
